# Tokenomics

DrillX is our foundational utility token within the Asteroid X ecosystem. We designed it to facilitate capital flows, enable community governance, and capture value across on-chain mining finance. As a transactional medium, staking instrument, and governance asset, DrillX empowers both investors and mining companies to participate in a secure, transparent, and capital-efficient ecosystem. The tokenomics design was led by Dr. Zou from the HashKey Tokenization team, ensuring a rigorous structure aligned with the demands of real-world asset integration and regulatory foresight.
